Can anyone explain how a cop there regularly is better than a speed camera?

So how about you actually keep yourself to the speed limits?

I know, this is crazy talk here, but you know, you don't need to drive 100kmh on city streets

And yes, most Canadian roads have been designed horribly bad, all highway style inviting you to speed, but that shouldn't be an excuse to speed.

And when you speed, it's your choice, your responsibility. Just don't fucking speed

And if you're in a hurry, leave earlier

Wanna have an even crazier idea? Start adding bicycle roads everywhere so that the vast majority of car drivers can go by bicycle, decongesting your roads.

Back to speeding cameras: Canada, all of it, start redesigning your roads instead of putting speed cameras. Make them smaller, people will automatically drive slower. Cut lanes, especially insode cities. If you have a six lane road anywhere inside a city, you're doing it wrong and you're asking people to speed

Sadly, this same premier has added extra requirements to adding bike lanes to city streets. He's been a popular target of criticism from Not Just Bikes.

Not just added extra requirements, he actually wants to take out all the existing bike lanes that the city just spent millions putting in.

Not all of them, but some pretty major ones.

Specifically, only the ones along the route he takes from his home to his office.
