The only Turkish delight I’ve ever had was terrible. Far too bitter…

Should I try again or is it truly a bitter gelatinous treat?

Edit: It is now my life’s mission to try real Turkish delight.

Forget the gelatin cubes. They're terrible. Get the ones that look like logs.

You should 10000% try it again from Turkey. That twaddle sold by Fry's is hot garbage imho.

There is an absolute glut of terrible Turkish delight out there. I don't know why. Someone decided with a name like that perhaps you could sell someone anything and they would buy it? Try some at a really good Turkish restaurant or ask a Turkish friend to hook you up. If you just randomly try some again, chances are it will be awful again.

I've had all kinds of bad and good Turkish delight, but never any bitter one...
