Mayor defends trans community after shooting at school (www.nbcnews.com)

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey defended the trans community, saying those who direct hate toward trans people have “lost their sense of common humanity.” The shooter has been identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman. FBI Director Kash Patel identified them as a male. Documents from Westman requesting a name change say they identify as female.

Would telling JK Rowling to go back to the kitchen and make you a sandwich be a good idea? Or do you think that women in general might take offense to something like that? It's not about respect for bad people, just respect for the marginalized groups that they're in.
