This is one of many Techrights have been doing to track the relatively sudden decrease of windows and increase of Linux/unknown/etc... OSs. But yeah it would be nice to see a more in depth article. Maybe someone (or yourself) can chime in?

It might be best to ask on Mastodon or something to hear from people living in Qatar and other Gulf states. I don't speak Arabic nor do I know any Arabs from the Gulf. That area has always been opaque to me.
