How. Tell us how to fight back against one of the most highly militarized police forces in the world and the most powerful army in the world? How are normal middle class Americans supposed to fight back against that? I mean I love the fantasy of fighting back, but tell me exactly how to do it. You tell me that and I'll start doing it.
I'd be willing to bet a decade from now we'll know that Trump probably cheated in the election and Republicans stole it. If there wasn't vote manipulation I'd be extremely surprised, knowing what we know about this administration and the people running it. How are we supposed to fight back against a system this fucking rigged?
It's really fucking easy to sit back in your armchair and call us dumb or lazy for not doing anything about this. I'm sure a lot of us would love to do something about it, so why don't you tell us how.
Afghani peasants did it. The Iraqis did it. The Vietnamese did it.
You never fight an enemy on their terms. The military control the guns. American civilians control EVERYTHING ELSE. Authorities can only be in one location. Citizens are everywhere.
Organize.
Block roads. Obstruct government and commerce. Hit infrastructure. Dump manure in the streets like the French. Stop garbage pickup. Bring society to its knees.
If those nations I mentioned can do it then surely the "home of the brave" can too.
No change to Trump will come from that. Blocking roads or dumping manure? That may work in France because French police still are humans. But in America you may get shot doing that and called a terrorist afterwards.
Defeatism has never changed a thing.
neither has ignoring the reality of a situation. French police are not like American police, nor are the politicians that control them. Republican politicians are literally above the law. They can do whatever they want because they control the courts, congress, and the presidency. They are soulless scumbags that literally do not have a sense of guilt or shame. And they are already putting the military into our cities. So its not just the police that we'd be fighting.
The first step to any of these things is explaining to me how we break Americans out of their complacent stupor. And honestly, the only way I can think to do that, is to wait for things to get much much much worse. Not until people are literally fighting for their survival will they be willing to do much of these things. If they had outside support, like the Vietnamese or Afghanis maybe they would be more willing. Its the reason i keep saying some support from our supposed NATO allies would be fucking incredible.
I think this is true too. People are too fat and comfortable and lazy to bother. It's going to get so much worse to get them to wake up. Hopefully it won't be a loved one getting dragged off by the gestapo to convince them to resist.
