Thats my only hope. Much like how the top nazis under Hitler would have (and in the few days also did) imploded in infighting after Hitlers death. Will the MAGA movement fail when the driving force dies? Will we see a mad scramble for power where whoever comes out in top doesn't have whatever crazy Trump has?
They very clearly tried to test run a new trump-lite candidate who they could control in 2020 with DeSantis, but he flopped so hard it was hilarious. They've also started trying to talk up some of Trump's kids and test the waters there, but they're inconveniently too old and too young or too female for the voter base's liking
The Republican party is absolutely fucked when Trump passes because they can't manufacture a replacement for his cult of personality in time. This is part of why they're trying to perform more election fuckery right now (and partly because they keep passing incredibly unpopular policies and executive actions which they can't blame on the other party at all right now)
I don't think Cokey or Dumbo have a problem with being too old or young, but they're somehow amazingly even dumber than daddy shitpants and have the charisma of a hammer and a soggy noodle respectively.
