Overview:
The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.
Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.
America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.
America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

This is in a US store? There’s no French on the bag.
There's no Canadian English either. American English is the only language I see on this bag.

It's not random. Source am American that reads a lot.
Noah Webster, in his efforts to standardize American English, simplified spellings by removing the "u" in words like "colour," "honour," and "favour".
I spell most words the British way. But it's gray, not grey.
It's grey never even heard of the gray spelling.
"Gray" is the more common spelling in the US, "grey" is the more common spelling in the UK (and apparently Canada).

In Canada, there’s a mixture of American spelling and Canadian spelling. I personally choose not to use the U because it looks ridiculous.

Wait you hear how us Canadians pronounce Lieutenant. I am almost 70. I was taught in school (Canadian) that is how you spell colour armour and a whole lot more. So easily forgotten things are after a couple/ of decades with our present and eroding school systems.
Where did you get this statistic? Sounds like bullshit to me. I have been making it a point to spell it with the Us all my life.

Most spell the American way auto correct for decades has been saying we are wrong and people just adapt. Also people don't say leftsnent they usually say lootenant.
Only if they have their localization set to US.
I set my language to Canadian English. It autocorrects the other way.
Not me. I am so (insert whatever here) that I will diligently wipe that american auto correct crap 2-3 or more to ensure my Canuckness. I am a legend in my own mind.

It’s not just Canadians avoiding American made products. I make it a point to buy foreign.
All dressed is somewhat common in Canada, but it's not really a thing in the US. That's probably the reason for the label.

Y'all are doing great with the boycotts btw, I'm seeing a mix of imported products at my stores. Like one of the whiskey bottled here in the states I'm now seeing half the bottles imported from the UK.

Aren't kays or some of them made in Canada. Or is this about the lack of the U? It took me awhile to even realize and I think most wouldn't. The U is dropped for Canada bir enforced in schools spell check changes it.
I mean the idea is "canadians love this, maybe you should too, americans"
