Canadan siblings: you are witnessing the continuing lack of courage and action from the people of the USA. Don't follow our example! Your government should rediscover backbone for your people, rather than strengthening the liplock on the backsides of billionaires and multinational megacorporations; but they won't without direct action and constant, loud, vigorous, united expression of "absolutely not!” PLEASE protect your sovereignty, and set the example for us that we should have been setting for you, for decades.
