He doesn't believe they exist. Everyone's either a sycophant or a rival or breeding stock.

My man is so deep up his own asshole that he genuinely believes everyone else is an NPC and he's the protagonist in a single-player game. And, in fairness, the market economy hands such absurd authority and unchecked privilege to billionaires that its easy for him to live in this delusional bubble, uninterrupted, indefinitely.
