Do you still have gallon of soda? I remember seeing soda by the gallon in the 80s. Now, the biggest bottle I see in Canada is 2L.

Biggest I've seen is a 3L bottle of Faygo but I think that's a upper Midwest regional brand and come to think of it I haven't seen one in years.

...i don't buy soft drinks but i feel like two-liter bottles were supplanted by three-liter bottles in the 2000s as the new standard size...

I've seen cheaper brands sold in bottles larger than 2L. (PA, US)
