Imma be real, those things full of ice and water are godly on a hot day
A camelback is cheaper, less pathetic, and much more likely to have water in it than coke. This isn't normal or ok for humanity.
Water? Like in the Toilette?
Camelbacks taste funny, and I suspect they leech into the water. (Thus why they taste funny)
Oh I'm sure they leech microplastics... But so do megagulps. The only difference is that camelbacks are almost entirely used for water (and probably some college kids alcoholic beverages) the difference is that these massive jugs usually contain soda, which covers up the plastic taste, and most are acidic, so they also contribute to the deterioration of the plastics in the container on top of that.
They are also insulated, and keep cold for far longer than the camelbak.
I have one of thos jugs I use exclusively for water when im working outside. They're great. Most of my family does the same thing. The type of container you drink out of doesn't mean anything.
Get some denture tablets, unflavoured or a flavour you don't mind, put two in the camel back and fill it up. Let it sit for a day and rinse out. Repeat a few times if needed. Helps strip a lot of the residue manufacturing solvents out. It won't be perfect but it will be a lot better.
