Iirc they came out right away and said more or less of this is the case we just won't do it. Not official but it felt like a dead end

i was verrry confused why the app store was still in my hotbar and still "runnable" threw me into a wild rabbithole trying to figure out how to get it working again.

Without this post i dont think i would've realized the tunnel vision i had not realizing there was a completely replaced app for it since i didnt see any notice in the OS >.< Feels like something big enough to warrant a notice for at least some of the users like me who are just oblivious to things that are too obvious when not knowing what were shpposed to look for.
