Americans love turning the Middle East into a game with teams, good guys and bad guys, black and white, like a real live version of risk. Americans think they own the world and they should fix it, instead of fixing their own dumpster fire
Edit: those down voting should know im an indigenous brown Latino whose country was raped by the US, the same one who is now rounding up my people into camps. This is why I say fix your shit. It’s easier to criticize the genocide across the world instead of stopping the one your country is revving up. It’s also easier to downvoted and rant to an indigenous person about colonialism without a hint of self awareness of the hypocrisy
There is no gray area in whether anyone approves of the American genocide of Native Americans in order to make room for their colonial expansion.
There is gray area in whether anyone approves of the genocide of Australia's, or Canada's, indigenous peoples in order to make room for their colonial expansion.
These actions were fundamentally, morally wrong. The wholesale theft of Palestinian land is fundamentally, morally wrong. Your attempt to denigrate this Holocaust as an issue of rooting between teams is an indelible stain on your soul.
I hope that one day even you can recognize that the wholesale slaughter of a people and its culture is not the same as a team sport.
I’m an indigenous Latino, your white ass wants to keep moralizing to me about genocide or do you want to stop the one your people are currently committing against mine? Or is it easier to make noise about Israel so you don’t have to hear our screams.
Or is there a number of us that need to die before you care and call it a Holocaust? I’m 67% pipil Mayan Aztec, did we get genocided or does it not count to you cause Instagram didn’t make videos about it? My point is that if you guys cared as much as you claimed, you’d be stopping the one at home, but you’re not
