As a man, it's not even a comparison and it's insulting to women to even suggest it.
Specifically, no one is comparing them except you. It's okay for two groups of people to have shitty experiences at once. It's not a competition or a fight, I don't understand why people keep trying to insist on making it a "one vs the other" thing.
Really? Nobody compares them? Maybe not here, but... Seriously? Is this your first day on the internet?
I can only speak for myself. If you're trying to lay the entirety of the Internet's behavior on a specific person or group of people then that's a pretty shitty personal take that you can take personal responsibility for.
You just said this though. How is this just speaking for yourself?
Would you like me to amend it to "No in this immediate conversation is comparing the two"? I figured you got that considering you said
Why are you getting so defensive about me pointing out the behavior of other people on the internet? Kind of a weird reaction.
As a third party, it's probably because you're being pedantic. No one in the conversation was originally comparing misogyny to misandry. So after the comment "it's not even comparable" it's obvious that the following comment of "no one's comparing them" means this conversation. So really harping on the idea of anybody anywhere on the internet comparing these things is irrelevant.
you dint go through the same struggles as a woman they did. and alot of it, especially social media comes from a place of misogyny(accusing women of misandry, and im a guy too. i only ever seen it use as a deflection tool from thier ownself why they cant get with women.
yes there are man-hating women out there, but im betting mysogynistic men far exceeds that.
