Trump also said in the past that the Continental Army took over the airfields during the American Revolutionary War.

He's not the best at history.

We had the best airfields during the revolutionary war. We dominated the skies. A lot of people don’t know this but the Air Force helped us defeat the British.

A fellow history buff I see. I just find it amazing that Washington had the foresight to destroy all of the British air bases throughout the colonies.
