Clearing your cookies is not enough to protect your privacy online. New research led by Texas A&M University has found that websites are covertly using browser fingerprinting—a method to uniquely identify a web browser—to track people across browser sessions and sites.

Even though it's common knowledge for us, I'd wager it's not common knowledge for the general public. It's important to continuously call these things out so the people who weren't or couldn't pay attention to this before can do so now.

I find it really weird that lots of the younger generation are as tech savvy as my parents. Perks of growing up in the Internet Wild West, I guess...

Imagine how well LimeWire or Kazaa would work out for the younger Z's and As.
