But the White House and their GOP colleagues increasingly believe that three senators in particular — Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Mike Lee of Utah and Rick Scott of Florida — are now on track to support the bill.

I don't know about Johnson, but Scott and Lee have long been on record as wanting to kill ALL social safety nets 100%, including Social Security,Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, Welfare, etc. Any rhetoric about protecting them are lies.

This is an old, well-worn strategy. What will happen is that the MAGA Nazis will allow a few Senators to vote against it in order to save face with their voters, but it will still pass by one vote, or with a tie that Vance will break.
