I couldn't be available for the first half of out local one (SoCal), and had to stay phone accessible for the second half, but I drive through it. Honestly, the turnout was insane. I saw the huge crowd at the intersection where it was supposed to be, and thought it was really impressive. Then I drove through it and the crowd was just thicker and thicker as I went - it went for blocks. My friend went and he said it was a great experience - everyone was peaceful. Lots of cops, but just being present they way they should be when there are thousands of people on the street.

Hopefully this time there's more news coverage. This AP story is a good start.
