The tiniest of silver linings is that there's a good chance of getting rid of the NFA once and for all. However, I would gladly push that date back if it meant the big shit bill hadn't passed.

Been putting together a home/street defense kit around an FLC and a battle belt. For most of my shooting experience it was just a fun hobby but with how things are playing out better to be equipped and not need it than need it and not have it sort of deal.

Simple stuff, decided on coyote, planning on getting an ACH and some plates to go under FLC. I chose a FLC because I can unzip and drop everything in one go if needed, no Velcro necessary. And I can strip the belt out and use just that if I wanted as well. Multi-use.

Running a mix of condor and surplus stuff, on a 12 gauge, pistol, and .308 rifle you may have seen in previous posts. Going to add more mag pouches but the caliber is limiting so I can probably get 2-4 mags more on the body aside from bandoliers

Any recommendations?

A self-described "peacekeeper" shot three times at Gamboa. At least one of the bullets hit Gamboa in the side. Another bullet accidentally hit and killed a 39-year-old protester.

So some rookie sees a guy peacefully walking around with an AR-15 and starts blasting? Open carry is stupid, carrying an AR-15 alone at a protest is stupid. But it's still the dude's right. Maybe the "peacekeeper" was an off duty HiGhlY TraINeD cop.

Sounds like they want to teach actual firearm safety. Every high school in America should offer a class like this. Maybe there would be less kids dying because of their negligent parents.

I’ve got an Anderson AM15 M-Lok with a 16” barrel. I’ve since replaced the BCG with a Bravo Company one. My understanding is the next thing to upgrade would be the barrel. I’m looking to gear this rifle to longer range shooting so im looking for improved ballistics and longevity. Would something like a Faxon or Rosco($200-$300 range) either 16” or longer offer any meaningful improvement to either ballistics or longevity of the rifle or is the difference pretty negligible until you get up to the real high end barrels? I could comfortably spend up to $350 on a barrel right now but I’m not married to the idea of swapping the barrel now if it’s truly not worth doing at that price range.

Because of restrictions where I live, I had to get an m1 platform and decided to go with the M1A. Figured I’d shop the look and get a 1911A1, but happened upon the Rock Island Armory GI 1911 for less than 300 bucks.

Will I get a 9 mm pistol? Probably. But I learned to stop worrying and love my inner Fudd. You should too.

Hi all, just found this community and figured I’d share my one-two combo I call Thelma and Louise. I guess I have a type after all! Maybe I should get a 1911 to round it all out….

Ive been a strictly iron sights on pistols guy my whole gun owning life but I’ve been converted and want to get a red dot on my Gen 4 G23. Started looking for optic ready slides and there’s a plethora of manufacturers. Is there anything in particular to look out for with aftermarket Glock slides?

As fascism rears it's ugly head, the Democratic Party says bow down and let it happen.

Talk is cheap. Even more so from the Republican regime.

Now we're mixing the leadership of law enforcement and military.

In other news, armed minorities are harder to suppress.
