That is a poorly worded headline. Sounds like the dog fell after being rescued from something else. But no, the dog fell 100ft, basically unscathed, and was then rescued.

Well, they sell homeopathic 'medicine' and Christian bracelets on their online store, so they're maybe not the brightest bulbs.

tbh, i got the meaning correct in first read only. seemingly, only 1 comma (one before 'after rescue ...') should fix it, or at least make it better. you could also replace the earlier 'after plunging' with who plunged/fell and that will also (arguably) improve readablity.
