Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Yeah like choose to find places that will hire you rather than ones that say they went with someone else. Duh.

[–] frezik@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 3 days ago

Choices like "GOP strategists should be ignored by everyone". This is the nice version.

Hey hungry people who cannot afford food, look at my fancy new ballroom that you paid for!

-tRump, effectively.

[–] comeonitsnotlike@feddit.nu 7 points 3 days ago

I'm not American, but how do you spell "eat shit"? I want every GOP voter to "eat shit", cause the plague is spreading even to my longitudes. Help me out, thanks in advance.

Compost them and grow healthy mushrooms.

Lindi li needs to have some empathy slapped into her with a shovel.

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

Or instead a shovel maybe with a chair. To the face.

How fucking stupid does a person of color have to be, to be a fucking republikkklan? She may be "one of the good ones" now, like Stephen Fucking Cheung, but they will be rejected and turned upon when other prey are scarce. Deservedly.

Like living in a better country maybe

Bad choices of those on SNAP…

  1. Joined military to serve my country and this is how they treat me!
  2. Worked for government, got DOGE’d, and no one is hiring!
  3. Picked the wrong birth parents and at 6 no one will hire me!
  4. Lost job over 50 and those kids won’t hire me!
  5. Lost job to AI and I went to Standford!
  6. Pro-life and kept my baby! 7)…fill in the blank

Yeah so Vance's wife did that in a video too. She sending out morse code or is it a tactic to try to look serious. Idk. It's weird.

Those that voted for republicans or didn't vote, I agree.

[–] kubica@fedia.io 4 points 3 days ago

I want to choose what family to be born in, but apparently I can't.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Another clueless twat who thinks those decisions can be anything other than starvation.

[–] heyWhatsay@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 days ago

I'm surprised Maga hasn't deported her yet

[–] axx@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 days ago

I know the USA's media landscape is extremely fucked but still, I'm amazed "starving socialist beasbeasts" isn't called out for the raving lunacy that it is.

[–] WhatGodIsMadeOf@feddit.org 2 points 3 days ago

It's America's team game to make regular humans revolt so they can make changes to our slave terms and conditions.

[–] tornavish@lemmy.cafe 2 points 3 days ago

Better choices like killing the people who put them there?
