I wish the tech world would leave M$ behind. They are spreading their enshitification to everything they touch in order to stay dominant. Like requiring secure boot, because they care about our security, while also allowing 50 flavors of anti cheat/DRM software to fuck around in the kernel. Kick rocks Microsoft.

This is entirely unrelated to the topic at hand, but the Dylan Thomas poem quoted in The Register's headline has always irked me for its use of gentle rather than the grammatically correct gently. Rage, rage against the dying of the light! -- Lemmy's curmudgeon
