I think I like Astrum, but I feel like some of their videos go over the edge into conspiracy nut territory.

(Anyone else feel like we should recommend putting the channel in the post title, like "[Astrum] I Might Stop Making Videos About NASA"?)

I stopped watching his/their videos a while back. I'm not completely sure why, something made me feel like I shouldn't trust them and that they went from just some person(s) being interested in science and sharing that to just caring about views and doing whatever they can to get those. I've stopped watching channels because of similar unspecific reasons before and so far it has always ended up being the right choice as stuff came out that proved my gut feeling was correct.

Yeah maybe that's what it was for me, too: a gut feeling that something was off about the videos.

IIRC, Astrum got some Private Equity investment.

Channel names would be very helpful here.

And yeah, his titles are certainly tending toward clickbait, but it's also the case that things really are nuts lately. (And not just politically, stuff like the various Hubble constant measurements make for exciting times also)
