America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

I'm sure he's not hearing that there are a multitude of different rices, and ours is not exactly first pick in a Japanese home.
I remember reading¹ a story of a woman who "helped" her (CHEF!) boyfriend by just putting all the rice he had in so many scattered small containers into a single large one.
She thought all rice was the same. She found out the very hard way that it isn't. I gathered from the reading that she and he were not together any longer after that.
(Note: it may sound harsh that he dumped her over this, but she'd asked about it DOZENS of times and was told each time to leave the rice alone. The fact she did it anyway indicates a serious deficiency in her ability to let well enough alone that spells a dire future for any relationship.)
¹ For the youngsters in the audience, reading is what we old-timey types did to get information back before everything was an effin' Youtube, Instagram, or Tiktok video.
That is 100% a legit reason to leave a partner. I, for one, can't stand stupid people. Can't imagine having that as a partner.

I wouldn't take it even in those circumstances.
- I don't use American products. Ever. For any reason. I started de-Americanizing my supply chain in the '90s.
- I don't know which strain they grow in the USA predominantly, but it's a singularly tasteless, texture-free one. When I lived in Canada, even before I started my de-Americanization, I bought rice from Thailand or India. Because they had actual flavour. Aroma. Texture.
The actual weirdest trade deal would be one where we export weabos to Japan
where we pay to export, while the true weabos would go for free

I live in Japan and honestly, this is the one time Trump is actually making some sense. If there was ever a time to practice protectionism around a staple food, it sure as hell isn't when that food's price just doubled in the span of a few years.
