Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

“I think a lot of the political stuff is keeps us divided. I think we should stay together and help each other out and not fuel into a lot of the political theater and division that they perpetrate in the media,” said Rioux.

It's a nice thought, but no amount of pleasant thoughts is going to reduce the active hostility of your current government. I likely won't be entering that country ever again.

And remember: the current government was selected through their nation's electoral processes. Which means that even if that current government is ousted, nothing prevents it from coming back.

“Political theatre”?

They voted for that shit!

“I would say, don’t be afraid of us. We’re not afraid of you. We’re sorry.”

They don't get it. I doubt they ever will.

You know who doesn't fear ants? Anteaters. You know who fears anteaters (metaphorically speaking)? Ants.

OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT AFRAID OF CANADA! Your nation is the predator. The predator that has directed its gaze at us as your next prey.

At the end of the day, I just don't feel safe travelling to the US. And that overrules everything else.

So I won't be going there for a long, long time.

I would love to go to the USA, but I can't go when the country's leader is deranged enough to send stealth doritos to drop bombs on countries it wasn't even officially at war with.

Secede or depose Trump and then we can talk about me heading back over.

I mean the U.S. hasn't declared war since 1945. You are not wrong, it's just been one long slippery slope to get to Trump.

Isn't the current war with North Korea a declared one?

Not with the U.S. It is a police action, that was never approved via a congressional declaration of war, that has never officially terminated.
