Not surprising since one of his kids is enby and he seems to actually care about being a good parent. Still nice to see and hear, though.

I can criticize the decisions he's taking and how the bills introduced by his government contain some concerning stuff, but as a person he's good.

"One of the strengths of Canada is recognizing that people can be who they want to be and love who they want to love. The federal government — we are the defenders of those rights," Carney said.

That's what I want to hear. Good on him. But the election results showed a swing to the right across the board, and we all need to keep working to reverse that trend so we don't see these rights taken away in a few years' time.
