I would have been if Bungie hadn't completely fucked up Destiny 2, as it stands they'll never get another dime from me.
I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of people will dismiss it simply because it looks cheap. It's like a a tech demo without textures. Although based on their multiple instances of stolen art, calling it an asset-flip is probably more accurate.
Personally I think the visual style looks messy. It’s an incoherent vomit of colors to my eyes. Almost like they made all assets in isolation and pray it will work out somehow. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how they did.
I loved the animated shorts, but that's about it. The game needs a serious overhaul so it doesn't look like a very generic shooter.
Maybe they can find another artist to rip off for a fresh new style.
Pve mode or don't fucking bother
Marathon was born a PVE game.
As someone who spent several years and hundreds of dollars on Destiny 2, I sure am glad to see that this is why we couldn't get a new Crucible map for like five years.
It would be wonderful if they also cancelled all live service plans.
Tha shareholders won't allow it. They demand that the profits get back to covid 2020 levels immediately.

The other way to read this is that they cancelled the marketing so that they're not throwing good money after bad, like with Concord.
