Autism and Disability in Nazi Vienna

People with mental and physical disabilities were among the first targets of the Nazi regime. Several years before the Nazis devised a “final solution” for Europe’s Jews, they had already begun sorting their citizens by ability and claiming the Reich had no place for people who were different. Nazi doctors and psychiatrists led the charge, endeavoring to mold certain “autistic” children into productive citizens while sending others to be murdered at Special Children’s Wards throughout the Reich.

Right on fucking schedule!

Oh look. Last week this eugenics loving shit head warbled into a microphone that every single autistic person will never live a normal life, will never pay taxes. Really? That’s the thing your mind went to after “normal life?” Of course. He sees autistic people as a burden to society; a monolith of useless eaters disregarding the fact that many autistic people do live normal lives by his myopic definition. Make no mistake. This nepo baby junkie who was never properly punished for anything in his life wants to cull groups he deems unfit. Couple this with his “wellness farms” for people who are “addicted” to SSRIs and you can see this utter psychopath’s mission.

Sadly, this doesn't surprise me. I expected something like this was coming.

So, an LGBTQ+ registry next? And compulsory badges? Americans, it's time to fight back.

I think they'd start with the neurodiverse; a badge for them is more easily "explained" as "making it easy to identify people who need support". That's not what it would be used for, of course.

A badge on the chest, makes aiming easier.

So they'll be tracking Elon, right?

Right?

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 7 points 4 days ago

And new camps to help them concentrate?

You starting to sound a bit like a 1930s German Bobby boy.

Start a registry for people suffering from erectile dysfunction.

Fun fact: when you live in Germany you need to register your religion with the government. So, today, they have a government database listing the name and address of all the Jews.

Apparently governments never learn that some information should not be collected.
