This has little to do with humanity. It's not human nature to exploit animals.

It is a part of human society, though. Exploit animals, nature, each other... kind of what we've been doing for most of our existence. Well, the ones in power at least.

Misanthropy is inaccurate and has consequences I don't like and has little potential to change things for the better.

Human society is very adaptable and human culture has evidence of not needing to exploit chickens.
