“Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”. Carney has a long and distinguished career in finance and politics. He is in complete control with whom he meets. Carney is buying time and setting up alternate trade outside of USSA. This takes time.
I was thinking United SchutzStaffel of America.
That makes some sense. But it's a bit of a deep cut.
TBH I had to look up what it stands for, but lots of people know of "the SS" in the context of Nazi Germany.
