Rachel Corrie, 1979-2003 (she died 22 years ago today)

Rachel, an American #peace #activist, was killed when Israeli soldiers crushed her with a #bulldozer

She was trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian family's home in #rRafah by Israeli occupation forces, before they left Gaza abd turned it into a giant concentration camp.

"She was clearly an agent of the enemy" - USA govt, probably.

Given how they treat domestic protesters and activists, it's no surprise, unfortunately.

@ICastFist

They actually pretended to care, set up an investigation and even went to court, but the soldier driving the Caterpillar bulldozer was freed from any wrong doing and put the blame on her for putting herself in front of the bulldozer "doing it's job".

Her parents setup the Rachel Corrie foundation that is very active and supporting Palestinian struggle for independent and justice.
