This is a platform dedicated to collecting and sharing stories from Trump supporters who feel betrayed by Donald Trump and/or the elected (and unelected) officials who enable him. Our goal is to give voice to those who have experienced broken promises, policy reversals, or other actions that contradict the values and commitments they told us they believed in.

We voted Republican because we believed the promises. They were going to lower the cost of living, lower the deficit, reduce government spending, end endless wars, stop illegal immigration, lower taxes for working class Americans, and put the brakes on out-of control woke ideologies.

Instead, the cost of living is increasing, the deficit is increasing, services we depend on like Medicaid are being threatened, jobs are being cut thoughtlessly and indiscriminately, and the President's priorities have slipped out of alignmnent with ours. Our representatives seem to have forgotten us in their haste to appease the administration, and our voices are not being heard.

Here, we tell our stories of betrayal, and name & shame those who perpetrated them, and who by cowardly inaction enabled it. We will make our voices heard by the lawmakers that have abandoned their constituencies.

A self-confessed ’MAGA junkie’ from a red-voting city devastated by Department of Government Efficiency firings has said she regrets voting for Donald Trump.

Bethany, a mother of two from Bogalusa, is one of them: her third baby is due on April 4, and Medicaid will cover the whole cost of delivery. Cutting the programme would be a “huge step back for all of us”, she says. “Times are hard — we can’t afford it ourselves right now.”

Bethany, who declined to give her surname because she does not want to publicise her political views, voted for Trump in November. But she says she is surprised at all the talk about curtailing a programme that has become indispensable to her and her family.

EJ Kuiper, chief executive of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS), which runs the Bogalusa hospital, says more than 40 hospitals in Louisiana are at risk of closing if Medicaid funding is reduced.

Trumper has since scrubbed her Facebook page of all things political, including pictures of her husband in a MAGA hat. She is now claiming to never have made political posts.

I'm posting this not to start a debate over politics but just for a generalized statement so please do not come at me or try to start a debate. I do not nor have I ever talked politics for the sheer reason that everyone has an opinion and is absolutely entitled to that opinion; that's why we vote and I am not about to go at it with someone because our beliefs arent the same. I have recently had too many people flooding my text messages or DMs forcing their opinion. I even had one friend end our friendship because I politely stated I do not talk politics and I was not going that rabbit hole with her.

The fact of the matter is like it or not the president is who it is. I have worked for the federal government for 15 years and it is a scary thing right now. [Redacted] also military and we don't know what our jobs will look like in the future. We're rolling with things as they come out and will adjust as needed but a lot of things I receive or read from a lot of posts have somewhat taken me by surprise and do not wish to be apart of it.

A pair of Long Island Trump voters visited Ireland recently. I think they were in their late 60s / early 70s. It looks like the current administration will be downsizing or disbanding the organisation their daughter works at and she'll likely lose her job.

Some other changes made by this administration mean that several of their investments are losing value. So they're very unhappy about him being in power now, although apparently the rape thing and being an overall creep was never an issue.

Anyway, Id' read that people like this exist and never actually saw / heard them before. It's real folks. They don't seem particularly bright but it seems they've done well for themselves in life.

I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a federal worker.

Right now I'm working on my resume. I'm open to work, preferably in finance as I have my accounting degree. If you know of anyone hiring please let me know.

As I have mentioned before, please do not post your political beliefs as I am not interested in debates or opinions. During this time, please remember that government employees are workers at risk of losing their job. It's scary as most of us have dedicated our careers to government and government operations is all that most of us know and now will be forced to look outside for other options and start over. No matter which side everyone is one, no one wants to lose their job so please be mindful of this. Remember that government employees are humans too and it is a very scary time for most of us and our families.
