I too have wondered about this. I doubt I will ever think to ask a chatbot a thing I would normally just "google" using a search engine. Sifting through search results is a skill/habit honed over 25+ years that just makes more sense to me. I also don't trust AI to answer correctly.

I often tear up from scenes from movies and tv. Yet basically never do for anything in real life.

I was listening to an NPR story the other day about how a ton of people showed up to donate blood to save an infant, and only one was a match, but it was anonymous, now the kid is a healthy 20yr old and the mom can't thank the person who saved them. It had my eyes all mushy on my commute home.

Yet, I had a cousin, and an uncle pass within the last few months and while I was sad, and I miss them, not a tear generated.

Yeah, he's super best buddies with Jenny McCarthy, and spouts the same nonsense she does.

Chuck Norris.

As a kid growing up in Texas in the 90s, Walker Texas Ranger was cool. Early internet memes about him were hilarious.

Then he said if he were elected president he would "Tattoo an American flag with the words, "In God we trust," on the forehead of every atheist."

Ever since I've been the killjoy, saying "fuck Chuck Norris" to anyone making a Chuck Norris is tough joke.

Yeah, I was never a true believer or fanboy, but back before he lost his mind and fired his PR department, I was cool with the electric cars, space exploration, solar roofs, trains, and even fun flamethrowers.

Ah, yeah that makes sense. Or maybe bottlecaps.

I imagine the Russian people will come up with a physical shadow currency of some sort or resort to far more bartering.
