Remember when Biden was too old to be president?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 22 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Rules like that only apply to everyone else, not Republicans, who are special people.

If they amendment 25 him or if he keels over whatever, we all get to look forward to this asshole, I guess...I'd be curious if he carries on with extremely idiotic and unpopular things like tarrifs and golden ballrooms and bombing fishermen and talking about annexing Canada/Greenland or Panama, too. Same with all the stupid vendettas and childishness like putting up a picture of an autopen instead of Biden's picture or trying to charge Biden with "fraud" (LOL) for the autopen.

collapsed inline media

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 21 points 19 hours ago

BTW, all of their stupid rhetoric about the autopen is even dumber than their stupid fixation with teleprompters, except autopens have been used without fanfare for even longer than the teleprompter.

But when Democrats use technology that has been in use for decade upon decade, idiotic right wing mouth-breathers can be trained to think it's bad.

Taco has a meltdown about a teleprompter, accusing everyone of some kind of plot at the UN over it, but when Obama used a teleprompter it was like the end of Western civilization itself, because it was a Blah guy running as a Democrat.

These people don't even have any internal consistency. They are reprogrammable meatbags. If Taco uses an autopen and even talks about how he uses it, they won't bat a fucking eye.

[–] OrteilGenou@lemmy.world 5 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

No way he gets anything done. He'd be a lame duck until the next election, and then he'd be history.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 18 hours ago

Let's hope so. The guy is way too cozy with the likes of Thiel and Musk and all that freakishness combined with way too much money that they represent.

I mean, I'm not looking for more Curtis Yarvin or lame-brained insanity like The Sovereign Individual injected into my life or American institutions....but a "JD" "Vance" presidency just might bring it about.

Taco can bully the Republicans with the power of the purse and threatening the funding of primaries against them if they don't go along. Sure the base firebombing their families is a factor, too. But Musk and Thiel obviously have very deep pockets and could do similar bullying. Musk in particular also has his share of crazy stans and incels that could also probably be whipped up into threats of violence against non-compliant pubbies.

They said the same about Bernie too and honestly I think he would have won.

Biden had a reasonable sound mind, whereas the orange felon/rapist/liar has dementia, visions of grandeur and lacks a soul.

Biden had a reasonable sound mind

But he didn't.

These fossils are all too old.

"The purpose of this imaging is preventative to identify any issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure the president maintains long-term vitality and function," she continued. "President Trump's cardiovascular imaging was perfectly normal. No evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels. The heart chambers are normal in size. The vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health."

What a load of bullshit lol. We already saw signs of Trump having cardiovascular issues because of the swelling in this legs and bruising in his hand (he was probably on a blood thinner). And there's no fucking way someone with Trump's diet, obesity and physical fitness has excellent cardiovascular health. Also she's literally contradicting the fucking report they released earlier that said Trump has Chronic Venous Insufficiency. Veins are part of the Cardio-vascular system Karoline.

Also as someone else posted in this thread they focused two much on the cardio-vascular system and abdominal organs which makes it very likely he has issues in those areas, Why would they be so specific otherwise? The man is starting to break apart from old age and they are trying to make it seem like he isn't.

It's Baghdad Barbie's job to lie.

[–] plz1@lemmy.world 30 points 16 hours ago

The what?

Must be nice to have preventative MRI's as an option, vs. having to quadruple justify a medically necessary MRI to the insurance bureaucracy, have it be rejected twice for no reason other than their greed, and then finally pushed through after your doctor lays into the penny pinchers to tell them to STFU and get out of the way.

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 25 points 19 hours ago

Yeah he's too old and falling apart. So, no shit you dumb bitch

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 16 points 16 hours ago

Age? As in being too old for the job?

[–] KnitWit@lemmy.world 16 points 19 hours ago

To be fair, that is the closest thing to a true statement she’s ever said as press secretary. His age does play a significant factor in whatever it is he’s got going on.

[–] tuff_wizard@aussie.zone 12 points 10 hours ago

“No evidence of arterial narrowing”

Well now I know she’s lying

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 11 points 19 hours ago

LOL when it comes to all of this, including the image they chose for this story.

[–] Broadfern@lemmy.world 7 points 18 hours ago

The specificity of those claims make me instinctively think those are precisely the major problem areas in his health.

I’m starting to suspect the only thing keeping him breathing are the McDonald’s preservatives.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 6 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

It's not like the White House to tell the truth. He has to be in even worse shape than we thought.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 6 points 9 hours ago

They covered up a major medical event when someone was seen dumping a bag out the Whitehouse window. Trump claimed immediately it was AI.

Whitehouse has been lying about these old men since Reagan.

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago

He's rotting.

[–] velindora@lemmy.cafe 2 points 17 hours ago

Looking for Russian implants

[–] treesquid@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

His dangerously advanced age? Yes, that is what we're worried about. He's unfit, mentally and physically. That's kinda the problem.
