I am sure if she sees this she will try! She did get booed at her pep rally when she talked about Carney.
Time magazine quoted the Beaverton as a source on a Hoekstra quote.
“This is not fair,” Eby said. “Absolute power to control the lives of British Columbians should not be in the hands of people none of them voted for. It should be in the hands of people fewer than half of them voted for but who nevertheless have all the power because that’s how first-past-the-post elections work. It’s called democracy. Kind of.”
Political comedy gold.
You should also read the last time The Beaverton covered Smith's notwithstanding clause use. And then the time before that.

This may backfire on Carney big time. I'm a Carney on kind of guy, but i'm also a BCer and this actually pissed me off. Alberta isn't the only province that thinks it's getting fucked by confederation, way to prove we have no agency in this country. Hope they remember this when the next confidence vote is called for.

I know it is a beaverton article. They did however sign a deal without BC input, which is the essence of the joke.
It’s a memorandum of understanding, saying they will look at it.
So if Smith made a memorandum of understanding with the PM over a pipeline in Quebec without it's input, what would you think the reaction would be? It would go over really well wouldn't it? Lol.
I know it would be the exact same, and I would say the exact same thing. It is a MoU that means nothing.
