The 2025 Winter Smart Traveller Survey by the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (THIA) found that only 26 per cent of Canadians are likely to go to the U.S., a 37 per cent drop from last year.

I feel there must be some error in translation somewhere. The way I'm reading it, 26% of Canadians spend their winter in the US. That can't be right! Even 26% going for a short holiday there sounds ridiculously high?

It's a traveller survey so they are polling people that travel a lot probably. Like I never filled out a survey and there is no way I'm heading to the USA
