[Kind off-topic] Perhaps I'm biased because I read some German, but the noun capitalisation feels nice.
[On-topic] The text is interesting because of his role in the American secession, but what he says there should be common sense in 2025. To keep it short:
- the erosion of a structure of power is gradual, and affects peripheral parts first
- it's motivated by distrust, unfairness and incompetence
Everything else is just fluff. Enjoyable to read, sure, but fluff.
