I'd rather have Netflix own it than the Trumpists. But yeah, none of this is ideal. Warner should be independent just as MGM should be.

I mean, the Vegas Strip has always been disgusting...but the fact that (more than?) half of it is owned by Amazon now is absolutely insane to me. . .

can't help but feel like either way any side buying loses $ WBD is going out of business because they can't make $ off their mountain pile of IP's...why would it be any different for netflix or paramount. the 4-5 media companies already effectively have a monopoly between themselves via cooperation, the people who are gokng to give then $ already are/have. all they can do now is drive more people away by enshittifying further
