I mean, we are living better than kings of the past. Running water, easy heating, abundance of food. But mentally we are overstimulated and all of other stuff. It could be much better I don't want to downplay that. But we are living better than in the past so just trying to look at the positives.
See the good, dont ignore the bad
Love this! I will keep this in mind next time someone dismiss concerns and say things could be worse.
If you compare the living conditions of current day with those of people in the past you can see how life has gotten much comfier over time and it sure is worth appreciating it. But there are also many similarities, such as a large bottom class being drained by a small upper class. I think that is much more what this image is about than about how warm and hygienic our lives have gotten in just a few hundred years.
