I have a special needs sibling, and I was always overlooked growing up because I was "gifted" and didn't need hand holding.
Boy, oh boy, did I ever start realizing my "weirdness" growing up was Aud-ADD. I was this meme when I started finding communities online talking about symptoms of each and slowly realizing I probably needed just as much help as my sibling did. Also, realizing ADHD and ADD inattentive were 2 different things. I have learned with trial by fire how to cope and mask and work through my specific issues, but I have also told myself that next year is when I want to get officially diagnosed and potentially medicated for the ADD.
Next year and tomorrow are when I plan on doing just about everything.
Oh your not wrong, that's the ADD kicking in. I said the same thing last year, but to add to my list of doctor things, I really need to get my migraines in check so my future neurologist is probably going to love me as a patient next year trying to get that AND the ADD on the right track.
Just remember: tomorrow's another day (to get today's things done).
You're still a bit confused. The term "ADD" isn't used anymore. We have "Hyperactive ADHD", and "Inattentive ADHD" (personally I have the latter).
