Why would they care? Look, setting aside concerns about dem chances in 2026, or concerns about if the election is even certified if dems win, what would dems do? Oooh, subpoena, so scary. When have republicans ever given a shit? Furthermore when have dems ever actually held these criminals to actual criminal account?
I really dislike Nancy Pelosi, but she actually did a lot to intervene when Dems took the House back during Trump's first administration.
Democrats to use House majority to launch Trump investigations
It doesn't get talked about enough, but Trump had plans to profit greatly from COVID and vaccine privatization. He likely would have been successful if he'd been able to roll out the vaccine without democratic oversight.
He had a lot of evil plans actually, and I'm pretty sure that most of his backlash against the vaccine and COVID mandates was mainly due to him being angry he wasn't allowed to profit from the pandemic in as many ways as he hoped.
Before the pandemic, top contractor received billions from government
Vaccine Maker Earned Record Profits but Delivered Disappointment in Return
Covid-19: Trump sought to buy vaccine developer exclusively for US, say German officials
Trump officials actively lobbied to deny states money for vaccine rollout last fall
And if a subpoena isn't scary why are Republicans in the House and Senate refusing to subpoena JP Morgan to force the CEO to release bank records of transactions between Jeffery Epstein and Peter Thiel?
"Chances"? It's a fucking wipeout by the Democrats by any stretch of polling whatsoever unless they try and rig, which they are trying to do now.
Don't even pretend like the GOP has a chance in hell.
Dawg Republicans are still up 7% favorability across the country, 34.7% to 41.5%. Like fuck Trump but come on, stop and look at the fuckin party. Half the dem seats in the senate up for reelection are in states Trump won; meanwhile all Republican senate seats up for reelection are safe, save Maine. You can't see Bernie, AOC, and Mamdani out here and attribute their popularity to the rest of the party, like Jesus Christ the Democratic party needs reform.
All the projections I'm looking at show 2026 with neither party having a majority, but leaning Republican.
Don't hold your breath. Everyone was saying there's no way Republican's can win in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024. I've seen them win a majority of those elections even with every poll saying it's a guaranteed loss for Trump, he still wins.
