Other possible things you want to avoid putting in a glass bottle include gasoline (any grade) and Styrofoam.
Also, definitely don't tape storm matches to the bottle instead of using cloth. Trust me on that. You really don't want it to light it before throwing it and then it breaks and ignites. It'd be terrible
why would one use tape matches instead of a cloth? just so i know to not do it.
Cloth wicks can be unreliable and risk splashing fuel around, whereas storm matches are easy to light, wind-resistant, and burn plenty long enough on their own.
The cloth won't fully seal the bottle, so liquid can fly out and splash from the cloth. If you don't throw it properly or if you "fling" the rag you are going to set yourself or something nearby on fire and lob a non-flaming bottle. Storm matches burn for awhile, and you just need it to ignite when the bottle breaks, so you want to use a liquid with a low flash point and seal the bottle before chucking it.
Diesel wont work (because you specified any grade of gasoline, but people might confuse that with any grade of fuel)
And just so no-one has to google this either; it forms a napalm-like substance that sticks well and burns, so definitely something very dangerous that shouldn't be tried under any normal circumstances
